Bingo Energy competition terms and privacy policy

Part One Competition terms and conditions

1 The promoter

1.1 The promoter is Supreme Imports Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 05292196, whose registered office and correspondence address is 4 Beacon Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1AF (the Promoter). Bingo Energy is the brand under which this promotion is operated.

1.2 Questions about the promotion may be sent to bingo@supreme.co.uk, marked “Bingo Energy competition”.motion and its dates

2.1 This is a series of free prize draws, normally run weekly while the promotion is active. The cash prize and number of winners for each draw will be stated in its official competition post before entry opens. £1,000 applies only to a draw advertised with that prize. No purchase, paid entry or consumption is required. Buying products does not improve the chance of winning.

2.2 The intended campaign launch Time and date TBC

2.3 Each competition post on @bingoenergy must state its opening and closing times, draw date, prize amount, number of winners and any significant claim conditions. Entries outside that draw’s stated period do not qualify. No new entries are accepted during a pause. Clause 11 explains changes to future draws and protection for existing draws. A working day is Monday to Friday excluding public holidays in England.

3 Who may enter

3.1 Entry is open to individuals aged 18 or over who live in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. Residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are excluded. Entrants must have an Instagram account they are authorised to use and comply with Instagram’s applicable rules.

3.2 Employees, officers and directors of the Promoter, its group companies, agencies and suppliers directly involved in administering the promotion, and their immediate families or members of their households, may not enter. Immediate family means spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.

3.3 The Promoter may request proportionate evidence of age, residence, identity or account ownership from a potential winner. It will explain what is needed and provide a secure way to supply it. No payment is required to verify eligibility or claim a prize.

4 How to enter

4.1 During the relevant weekly entry period, follow the official @bingoenergy Instagram account, like that week’s designated competition post and comment “I'M IN!” on that post. Capitalisation and straight or curly apostrophes do not affect validity. All three steps must be completed by the weekly closing time.

4.2 Internet access and an Instagram account are required. Normal internet or mobile data charges may apply. There is no requirement to tag a friend, share a post, buy a can, upload proof of purchase or agree to receive marketing.

5 Entry limits and validity

5.1 A maximum of one entry per person is permitted for each weekly draw, regardless of the number of comments or accounts used. Additional comments do not create additional entries. Entries do not roll over: a new qualifying comment and like on the designated post are needed for each week. Existing followers do not need to unfollow and follow again.

5.2 Previous winners may enter later weekly draws, subject to these rules. A person may receive no more than one prize in any single weekly draw. Entries must be made personally. Entries by agents, automated systems, bots or multiple accounts used to evade the limit are invalid.

5.3 The Promoter must be able to find the qualifying comment and verify the required steps. An account does not have to be public. Entrants should keep the qualifying comment and like in place and continue following until the draw has been completed, so the entry can be verified. Where platform settings prevent verification, reasonable alternative evidence may be requested.

5.4 Entries that are incomplete, late, fraudulent or not made under these rules may be rejected on reasonable evidence. A mistake by the Promoter or its administrator will not itself invalidate a compliant entry. If an entrant deletes an entry before the draw, that entry will be treated as withdrawn.

6 Selecting the winners

6.1 On each published draw date, one potential winner will be selected from all valid entries for that week using a computer process producing verifiably random results, or by an independent person or under independent supervision. Possible using ai to assist winners or using other tools or websites or ideas

6.2 The Promoter will retain a record of the valid entry pool, selection process and result. Each valid entry has an equal chance of selection. The chance of winning depends on the number of valid entries received in the relevant week. There is no guarantee that an entrant will win.

6.3 The selected entrant becomes a confirmed winner once eligibility and compliance have been checked. If a redraw is necessary under clause 7, it will use the same fair selection process from the remaining valid entries. Any challenge to an entry or result will be considered fairly using available evidence.

7 Notification and claiming

7.1 The Promoter will contact the selected entrant within two working days of the draw by a direct message from @bingoenergy. The entrant must respond within 14 calendar days after the first notification is sent. Entrants should check message requests. The claim deadline must also appear in the weekly competition post.

7.2 The initial message will explain how to verify the contact independently and provide any necessary evidence securely. If the entrant does not respond within the claim period, declines the prize, is shown to be ineligible or fails to provide reasonably requested verification after a reasonable opportunity, a replacement winner may be drawn. The Promoter will keep evidence of its contact attempts and the reason for any redraw.

7.3 If a platform fault prevents a genuine winner from responding, the Promoter will consider reasonable evidence and an alternative contact route before awarding the prize elsewhere. The Promoter will not demand excessive personal information or make optional publicity or marketing consent a condition of receiving a prize.

8 Paying the prize

8.1 Each confirmed winner receives the cash amount advertised for the relevant draw, in pounds sterling. The amount may vary between draws as explained in clause 11. A prize already advertised for an open draw will not be reduced. Each prize is a single payment, not shared or paid in instalments. No purchase, fee or payment by the winner is needed. The prize cannot be sold, assigned or transferred to another entrant.

8.2 Payment will normally be made by bank transfer to an account in the winner’s name, after eligibility and payment details are verified.

8.3 The Promoter will award the prize within 30 calendar days of the relevant weekly closing date. The draw and claim timetable must allow this. If a specific exceptional timetable is required, it must be stated clearly before entry, including in any affected promotional material. The winner will be told promptly of any genuine payment problem and the steps being taken to resolve it.

8.4 A verified winner may be asked for the account holder’s name, sort code and account number through the confirmed secure channel. Do not put bank information in public comments or send it by ordinary Instagram direct message. The Promoter will never ask for a card PIN, security code, online banking password, one-time passcode, login access or payment to release a prize.

8.5 If a message appears suspicious, contact bingo@supreme.co.uk independently before sharing information. Do not rely solely on a display name, follower count or a link supplied by the sender. The official competition account is @bingoenergy; similarly named accounts are not authorised merely because they claim to represent Bingo Energy.

8.6 The Promoter will not deduct its own administration or payment charges from the advertised prize. Any tax responsibilities arising from the winner’s own circumstances remain the winner’s responsibility, subject to the Promoter’s obligations under applicable law.

9 Evidence of a valid award and publicity

9.1 The Promoter will make the surname and county of confirmed winners available on request to bingo@supreme.co.uk for three months after the relevant prize is awarded. An entrant may object to public disclosure, or ask for less information to be disclosed, before an announcement. The Promoter will consider objections and restrict disclosure appropriately, while retaining the ability to provide award evidence privately to the Advertising Standards Authority if challenged.

9.2 Separately, a winner may choose to allow Supreme Imports Ltd to display their agreed name on Bingo Energy’s website and official social media channels, including a historical winners page and posts, with no fixed expiry date. This permission will be requested separately after selection, recorded and explained before publication. Full name, first name or another agreed format will be specified in that consent. Consent is optional and is not a condition of receiving a prize.

9.3 There is no automatic deletion deadline for a name displayed under clause 9.2, but the Promoter will review continued display at least annually and remove or anonymise it when the purpose or consent no longer supports it. The winner may withdraw consent at any time through the privacy contact in Part Two. The Promoter will then stop new use and remove or anonymise names from channels it controls without undue delay, subject to lawful exceptions explained to the winner. Unrelated third-party copies may be outside its control.

9.4 Photographs, video, testimonials, social media handles or use in new advertising require separately explained permission covering the proposed material and use. Entry alone does not grant an irrevocable publicity licence or waive data protection rights. Necessary private award and financial records are governed by Part Two.

10 Personal information

10.1 The Promoter will use personal information as explained in Part Two. Entry is not consent to unrelated marketing or data sharing for another company’s marketing. Instagram processes information under its own terms and privacy notice.

11 Fair administration and changes

11.1 The Promoter may take proportionate steps to prevent fraud, manipulation, harassment or technical abuse. Disqualification must be supported by reasonable grounds relating to a stated rule, and not simply because an entrant raises a legitimate complaint.

11.2 Supreme Imports Ltd may, at any time, increase or decrease the prize money for future draws that have not yet been advertised or opened, and may pause, resume or end future unannounced draws. No further unannounced draw is guaranteed. This discretion does not override a campaign duration, number of draws or total prize fund already promised in advertising or on packaging. The revised amount and dates must be published before entry opens for the affected draw.

11.3 For a draw already advertised or open, the stated prize amount, number of winners, closing date and valid entries are protected. The Promoter may increase a prize if this does not disadvantage existing entrants, but may not reduce the advertised amount or withhold an earned prize. An existing draw may be altered, suspended or cancelled only exceptionally because of unavoidable circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control or a legal requirement, with fair treatment and an appropriate remedy for affected entrants.

11.4 Changes, pauses, resumptions and the end of future draws will be announced promptly on @bingoenergy and the promotion website. A closing date changes only where necessary and fair to existing entrants. Revised rules will not apply retrospectively to their disadvantage. Conflicting advertising must be corrected fairly, taking account of the promise on which entrants relied; an undisclosed condition cannot be used to reject a valid entry.

12 Technical issues and responsibility

12.1 Entrants are responsible for providing accurate information and for their own internet connection and account security. The Promoter does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of Instagram or the internet. It will nevertheless take reasonable steps to investigate reported technical problems and protect compliant entries where practicable.

12.2 The Promoter is responsible for administering the promotion with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Entrants’ statutory rights are unaffected.

13 Instagram and Meta

13.1 This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Meta. The Promoter is responsible for the promotion. Information supplied to claim a prize is supplied to the Promoter and its authorised administrators, rather than to Instagram as the organiser.

13.2 To the extent permitted by law, entrants release Instagram from claims arising from the administration of this promotion by the Promoter. This does not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Entrants remain subject to Instagram’s applicable platform rules.

14 Complaints and applicable law

14.1 Send competition complaints to bingo@supreme.co.uk with the relevant post, entry details and a short explanation. Do not include bank details or identity documents in an initial complaint. The Promoter will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. Entrants may also raise advertising complaints with the Advertising Standards Authority.

14.2 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain the protection of mandatory laws applying where they live and may bring proceedings in their local courts where the law permits. Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights or access to the courts.

14.3 If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as they can operate fairly and lawfully. These terms take effect on for entries made under the stated campaign schedule.

The controller responsible for the personal information described here is Supreme Imports Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 05292196, whose registered office is 4 Beacon Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1AF (we, us or our). This policy covers entrants, winners, people contacting us and visitors to the supporting Bingo Energy website. It does not cover unrelated Supreme group services.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, write to bingo@supreme.co.uk or to the Privacy Contact, Supreme Imports Ltd, 4 Beacon Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M17 1AF. Our data protection officer’s details, if applicable,Competition enquiries: bingo@supreme.co.uk. Effective date:

2 What information we collect and where it comes from

When you enter on Instagram, we collect your username, qualifying comment, entry time, the information needed to check the follow and like requirements, and records of the entry and draw. We obtain this from you and from the relevant Instagram post, account interactions and authorised administration tools. We do not need access to your Instagram password or unrelated private messages.

If you are selected, we may collect your name, confirmation of age and UK residence, county, contact details, account ownership evidence and claim correspondence. Where necessary, we may ask for limited evidence of identity or eligibility. We will explain what is required and avoid collecting full identity documents when a less intrusive check is sufficient.

To pay a verified winner, we collect the account holder name, sort code, account number, payment reference and payment confirmation, or the information strictly needed for an agreed alternative. We do not ask for payment card security details, banking passwords, PINs or one-time passcodes.

If you contact us, we collect the information you provide and records needed to answer your enquiry or complaint. The supporting website may generate IP address, browser, device, security and access logs. The final website’s actual providers, analytics, cookies and embedded social media or video features must be identified before this policy is published:

3 Why we use information and our lawful bases

Competition administration: we use entry, contact and eligibility information to accept entries, apply the published rules, select and contact winners and fulfil prizes. Our proposed lawful basis is performance of the promotion agreement, including necessary steps you request before entering that agreement. We collect only information necessary for those purposes.

Security and complaints: we use proportionate information to prevent manipulation, protect our services, investigate complaints and maintain evidence of a fair draw. Our proposed basis is legitimate interests in running a secure and fair promotion and resolving disputes, after assessing the effect on your rights. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

4 Other purposes and optional marketing

Financial records: where retention or disclosure is required by applicable tax, accounting or other law, our basis is compliance with that identified legal obligation. Evidence of an award: our proposed basis for limited winner information and regulatory evidence is legitimate interests in transparent promotion and compliance with advertising standards. Clause 9 of Part One explains your opportunity to object to public disclosure.

Optional publication of a winner’s agreed name without a fixed expiry date relies on separately recorded, freely given consent. This covers the historical winners display and posts agreed with the winner, not unrelated new uses. Consent may be withdrawn without losing the prize. We review continued publication at least annually and remove or anonymise the name when consent or purpose no longer supports it. Additional photographs, video or advertising need separately explained permission.

Electronic marketing uses a separate, specific optional choice where consent is required. Entering, following, liking or commenting does not subscribe you to emails, texts or marketing direct messages. Any sign-up identifies the sender, channel and purpose. You may withdraw marketing consent using the unsubscribe option or privacy contact without affecting entry or prizes. A minimal suppression record may be kept to respect your choice.

5 Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised staff and service providers who need it for a stated purpose. These may include the appointed promotion agency, draw administration provider, website host, IT and security providers, secure document collection service, and banks or payment providers

Processors acting for us must follow written instructions, protect information and use it only for the agreed service. Banks and other independent controllers may have their own legal duties and privacy notices. We may disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or courts where necessary and lawful. Group membership alone does not permit unrestricted sharing or unrelated group marketing.

We do not sell entrant information. We will not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing without a separate lawful basis and any consent required. Instagram and Meta handle your use of their platform under their own privacy information; this includes the visibility of comments you post publicly.

6 Transfers outside the United Kingdom

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Before using them, we identify the relevant countries and ensure any restricted transfer has a valid mechanism, such as applicable adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards with required assessments and additional protections. Ask our privacy contact for details or a copy of applicable safeguards, with confidential information removed where necessary.

7 How long we keep information

Proposed retention schedule for approval: identifiable unsuccessful entry records and routine draw administration records are deleted or anonymised within six months after the relevant draw’s prize is finally awarded and routine complaints are resolved. Copies of identity documents are deleted promptly after verification, normally within 30 days, unless a specific dispute or lawful requirement justifies longer retention.

Name publicity records have no fixed expiry only while the winner’s separate consent and the stated purpose remain valid, with at least annual review. Withdrawal triggers removal from our controlled public channels without undue delay; we may retain minimal consent and withdrawal evidence where needed to demonstrate compliance. This does not authorise indefinite retention of identity or banking information. Necessary private winner, award and finance evidence may be retained for up to six years after payment where justified by accounting requirements or legal claims. Remove bank details from working claim files after payment and reconciliation

8 Security and information you need to provide

We use appropriate access restrictions, secure transfer methods and administrative controls to protect information. Only verified winners should be asked for payment details, through the confirmed secure channel. No system is completely risk free. If you suspect impersonation or misuse, contact us independently using the published details.

Entry information is needed to assess your entry. A selected entrant must provide information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and pay the prize; without it we may be unable to confirm or pay the award. Optional marketing, publicity and non-essential website tracking are not required. We do not require special category information such as health or ethnicity to enter.

9 Your data protection rights

Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing and transfer of certain information in a portable format. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including limited winner publicity, and you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact our privacy contact to exercise your rights. We may ask for proportionate identity verification and will normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions or exceptions, which we will explain. Requests are normally free.

Selecting an entry at random is not profiling. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is intended to be made solely by automated processing. Eligibility disputes or fraud flags will receive human review.

10 Website cookies and external services

Before launch, the website will explain the cookies and similar technologies it actually uses, including provider, purpose and duration, through []. Where consent is required for analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, those technologies will not run before consent. You can reject them or later change your choice without affecting competition eligibility.

External links take you to services with their own privacy policies. Social media and video embeds may transmit information to their providers; any consent-dependent embed must be blocked until the required choice is made. This policy does not assert that any particular tracker is currently installed

11 Children complaints and policy changes

The promotion is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If we learn that an ineligible child has entered, we will remove their entry and delete unnecessary information, retaining only what is proportionately needed to address a specific issue. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been collected.

You may raise a privacy complaint with us and may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or on 0303 123 1113. We will not require you to give up this right. If we materially change how information is used, we will update this policy and take any additional steps required before a new use begins.
